Annual NC NENA/APCO Conference
Each year, NC NENA proudly co-hosts the North Carolina NENA/APCO Conference—our flagship event bringing together 9-1-1 professionals from across the state. This multi-day conference features industry-leading speakers, workshops, and networking opportunities focused on advancing emergency communications in North Carolina.
NC NENA Wellness Retreat
The NC NENA Wellness Retreat is an annual event designed to support the mental health and well-being of North Carolina’s telecommunicators. Offered to a select group of professionals identified as being in need of support, the retreat provides:
- Specialized training focused on stress management and resilience
- Access to an on-site licensed clinician
- Dedicated peer support from fellow 9-1-1 professionals
This retreat is part of our ongoing commitment to care for the people behind the headset.
Training Support & Resources
While NC NENA does not currently host its own standalone training sessions, we actively support and promote:
- National NENA’s virtual training programs
- NENA-certified courses hosted in North Carolina by partner agencies
We encourage all members to pursue these high-quality opportunities for professional growth and development
